Welcome to my blog!
Hello, my name is Cris. In a few weeks, I'm going to graduate with an ungraduate degree in computer science. I wanted to start this website to explore all the different facets of computer science I'm interested in.
In school, we were exposed to many interesting topics, but I didn't always have the time to fully explore them. That's why I created this website, to finally delve into all of the subjects I really wanted to understand.
Another reason for this website is it helps me a lot to be able to visualize the process. I'm a very visual learner, and I have a feeling most other people are, too. Hopefully exposing all of these topics will help out other people trying to learn CS as well!
At the end of the day though, this site is for me. My biggest struggle is with remembering all of the knowledge surrounding computer science (of which theres a TON). I want to design this site in a way that supports my unique mental model. Maybe it won't be designed in a way that's made for everyone, but just know there's always a method to the madness, haha.
I'm still learning a lot about web development, I'm thinking about making a separate post about how I've made what I have so far. For now, though, I want to focus on making it look nicer.
Anyways that's about all I have to say for this post. I'm a bit nervous, but also excited. I don't expect many people to ever see this, which is fine. That's not the point. The point is to learn!! All that being said, here's a picture of my ducky collection :)
